<image:title>Mark Capovani - Mark Capovani Director of Construction</image:title>
<image:caption>Originally from upstate New York, Mark now resides in the Raleigh-Durham area, where he directs the commercial projects for Forte Construction. After running his own residential and commercial company in New York, Mark spent the better part of 16 years with one of the premier MHPI partners, Corvias Group, where he acted in various project management and directorial roles for their mil-con and military housing construction program. He spent time overseeing work at multiple naval stations, and later had extended stints at Fort Polk, Fort Bragg and Eglin Air Force Base before serving as the Director of Development within the Campus Living portfolio for Corvias Group, where he helped expand their housing inventories. Mark later began working as a project manager for a general contractor, Paragon Construction, which led him to manage large lodging and housing renovations more directly at Hunter Army Airfield and Fort Lee. His experience in MHPI construction and as Project Director for Corvias built the foundation for what Mark considers his greatest strength. During his tenure, he gained a vast programmatic perspective and an in-depth and intensive knowledge of the privatization initiative. With experience developing military construction projects from ground up, overseeing extensive renovations on multiple bases, and now working with Forte to oversee the procurement of projects as well as their safe and well executed completion, Mark has genuinely seen every aspect of the MHPI program since its inception and carries tremendous experience and a well-rounded understanding to our clients’ projects. In his free time Mark enjoys expressing his artistic side by creating sculptures and carvings in multiple mediums such as wood, metal and concrete. Along with his wife Kerri and their energetic Labrador, Sambuca, they spend a great deal of time cooking and enjoying the outdoors.</image:caption>

<image:title>David Thaggard - David Thaggard</image:title>
<image:caption>Principal Owner David realized his desire for a future in construction while working in the field as a young man. He met his future wife and received a degree in Construction Management at Northeast Louisiana University. David steadily forged a path with various companies as superintendent, project manager, regional V.P. and eventually founded Paragon Construction in 1993 working on large-scale commercial projects encompassing residential neighborhood development, shopping centers, hotels, assisted living facilities, institutional and industrial buildings. In 2008, Paragon began working with Lendlease, an MHPI partner, first as an FF&E provider and installer, and eventually renovation work around the country. This line of work proved to be a great niche for his company and grew quickly, starting with small renovation contracts and eventually growing into a bustling, well-respected team completing multiple large-scale projects each year on military bases around the country. David Jr (D.H.), has played an integral role with David Sr. since 2010 and is now a full managing partner of Forte Construction where they continue to work together – establishing strong teams to pursue and complete projects under the MHPI program. David now has the privilege to work on a team of respected, high-level, dedicated individuals that possess years of experience in military housing. David enjoys his time in Inlet Beach, FL, where he and Paula regularly entertain their four children’s families, including four grandchildren. He enjoys biking the small roads in his neighborhood, keeping up with his Bootcamp training, his daily 3-mile beach walk, and playing guitar (learning songs by John Prine is a particular interest).</image:caption>

In 2016, he transferred to the Construction industry as the Accounts Payable Manager for Paragon Construction where he remained until early 2022. During his tenure he oversaw Paragon’s AP process during a time of rapid growth and increased volume in invoicing and payables. <image:title>Jordan Fisher - JORDAN FISHER</image:title>
<image:caption>Site Superintendent Jordan’s journey into construction began with a strong drive to build stability and grow a meaningful career. After serving as a light infantry medic in the U.S. Army, Jordan operated within one of the most professional organizations, where he learned the essential qualities of discipline, teamwork, and mission focus. His early interest in real estate investing sparked the desire to understand every layer of the construction-renovation process, which led him to pursue a hands-on career in construction management. Jordan helped run Denver’s top bathroom remodeling company and a successful kitchen remodeling company, working closely with the owner as part of a two-man team. He later managed federal renovation and infrastructure projects in the Washington, D.C. area, coordinating field operations across a range of construction job sites. His success in these roles, supported by strong feedback from supervisors and government clients, eventually guided him to Forte Construction. He was drawn to their supportive, family-oriented culture, specialization in single-family home construction, and proven track record in a highly competitive construction environment. Originally from Guam and strongly rooted in his Catholic faith, Jordan thrives in high-energy physical environments, which is why he enjoys staying active such as hunting and hiking with dogs and mixed martial arts, particularly Muay Thai kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu grappling, with salsa dancing and cooking as his creative outlets. Whether he’s perfecting a recipe for top-tier nutrition or managing a job site, Jordan thrives on discipline, simplicity, and continual growth.</image:caption>
